Week 4

Hey guys! i’m not going to lie, documenting my workouts everyday is not really easy. It gets really difficult when I have a lot of things to do. I still have to take some time out for myself while helping the house out.

I have a job to submit this week and this has been the slowest that I have been on any job. I also have some other job to do and I just need to do everything as quickly as possible.

Day 22

This is one of the hardest workouts ever. too many variations of crunches that make me want to pass out of exhaustion. cross arm crunches, reverse crunches, and long arm crunches . All in one day! I think the fitness app creators don’t want me to move at all, today.

Hope tomorrow doesn’t suck as much.

Day 23

The crunches reduced a teeny bit today. I only had the reverse crunches and the clapping crunches to deal with. still no love for those exercises!

The bent leg twist is a wonderful exercise for all working class people. I know what sitting for extended periods of time can do to someone. Your lower back will threaten to kill you all the time. Bent leg twists help you to work out your lower back and who knows, you might hear a stress-relieving crack. Just as I did today.

Tomorrow is another rest day and my bones rejoice! See y’all on Day 25!

Midday update;

I think I pulled my left calf again. And my right Talus side ( front part of my right ankle) hurts too. I probably put too much weight on it or jumped wrong or stiffened it while working out. Good thing tomorrow is rest day so it can have ample rest time.

Day 25

Hey guys! I’m going to come right out and apologize. All that shenanigans I said about leg raises being easy, trash it! Sweet mother of sh*t! I take it all back! That shit is hard. When you do an exercise long enough, you will begin to feel like your body wants to rip itself apart. My back feels like I’m pushing its limits when I’m doing my leg raises and it isn’t funny one bit.

Minus my rant, the workouts were pretty intense. for a day after the rest day, I did a lot of bent leg twists that made me know the value of doing a few, and what it means to do a lot of a particular exercise. Not easy at all.

I need to find a solution to my backaches during the leg raises because the exercise helps work out my lower abdomen. Sigh! Journey to a great body sucks!

Day 26 & 27

Hey guys! yeah, yeah, I’ve not had to combine 2 days of workout review before but I am sure that i told you at the beginning of the week that I had a lot of work to do this week. Working out these 2 days were somewhat difficult. I have gotten more and more tired. I can’t even bother with the crunches. I wish they would come out with a no-crunch alternative to lose weight. I would be so happy!

Anyway tomorrow is another rest day which coincides with the day I have to make my submission. I am so happy to not have to workout and the burden of the job will, finally, be off my neck!

See y’all when I see y’all

Day 29

This is the weakest I have ever been when trying to workout. I had a running stomach and I was just tired. Working out became more of a challenge than anything. I just did not have the strength needed for the exercises.

Worst workout day ever.

Day 30

Last workout day on the beginner mode. Today’s workout was just there. I have this mixed feeling about it seeing as my day was wacky yesterday.

I am supposed to start with the intermediate stage as soon as I am done with the beginner stage but I think I will hold off on that. Like, I think you are the person who can honestly judge your performance and will know if you are ready for a new stage. Am I there yet?  Nope! So I am going to do the other exercises that need doing to further tone down my tummy.

I am totally going to ignore crunches. Thank Goodness for the no crunch workout the application has. Y’all need to know something. I was so happy when I saw this hard core workout that had not half a crunch in it. I was ridiculously psyched. Felt like seeing a jar of nutella.

Anyways, Happy 1 month of workout to me!
