Week 2

Day 9

Hey guys! It is a new workout week and just as I suspected, the first week was full of getting me to loosen up and into the exercises. Today was packed with exercises that included seriously working out the lower part of my abdomen which I am psyched about.

I was worried about the focus of the exercises being on the upper part of the abdomen but with this new week, there are lower abdomen-focused exercises that made me feel like I am, finally, going to get rid of the pooch! See you tomorrow!

Day 10

It feels surreal that I have finally started working out and I have worked out for one whole week. Getting out of bed to start working out is a challenge but I have my absolutely scandalous crop tops to look forward to so that serves as a motivator!

One thing that I have noticed is that I adjust accordingly after trying out a few of the exercises. When doing the side leg raises in the app, the avatar raises her two legs and it has been really difficult to follow.

I have once complained about the exercise as it forces my hip bone to dig into the ground and it is also not easy to raise both legs while lying on my side, so I decided to Google the exercise and I found out that I can raise one leg at a time while the other can rest on the ground and still achieve the same results! I am finally going to have to modify that exercise to fit this new style. I can’t wait to finally try it out!

Day 11

And to think I was psyched that I would finally take a break from clapping crunches but Nope! It just had to come back. The lazy part of me went on a search of the exact advantage of crunches and it was funny that I came across crunches as one of the most useless exercises. Yup!

That alone is good enough to make me want to back out of crunching my ribs but there’s this other part of me that says “what if it works for you?”. So, my choice is made, I’m going to have to suck it up and gnash my teeth through it. I still detest crunches anyway.

I have been sweating a lot more during my workouts. Does that mean it is finally working? Hmm… Well, tomorrow is a rest day! See y’all on day 13

Day 13

This morning was just the  most uncomfortable I have been in a long time. After waking up continuously during the night, I really needed to sleep in but in my house, there is no way that is going to happen so I literally pulled myself off the bed. Even during the workout, I was still feeling sluggish.

A cup of coffee and I’m right as rain. Maybe not as rain, but not as sluggish as before. Motivation is EVERYTHING! I now understand why most people would prefer working out with someone, or having someone to push them.

Motivating yourself is quite difficult because you will be at the giving-up thresh-hold a lot.

Day 14

Lat day of week 2 and I can say that I am very happy with my endurance and breathing. I feel more comfortable with the exercises and I feel full of strength. I breeze through most of the exercises, even though the reps are getting longer, and feel better performing them.

I also have lost 1-inch on my waistline! I am so psyched! I know it doesn’t seem like much and one inch is just a little to some of you but I love myself for this. I am proud of myself too! I am not even eating well yet. p.s eating well means balancing my carbs, protein, and veggie ratios. I have done well in my waistline.

The exercises are getting more intense and I have also begun to workout my lower abdomen more so I also feel better about that. Getting closer to my crop top dreams!

See you all in Week 3!
